Supporting local culture through the Guido d’Arezzo Foundation

Arezzo – Italy

Pillar 1:
Ecological transition in the field of culture

Priority 4:
Encouraging local artistic creation

The municipality of Arezzo aims to make cultural activities as locally produced as possible. This approach encompasses all aspects, from sourcing materials and consumables for organising events to supporting local artists and creators across all artistic disciplines.

Promoting local culture is a key priority in the Guido d’Arezzo (GdA) Foundation‘s plan. The GdA Foundation, a joint initiative of the Tuscany Region, the Municipality and Province of Arezzo and the Friends of Music Association of Arezzo turns the proposals of local artists and associations into public services and projects. Each year, the Foundation publishes a call for proposals for local associations, offering grants to support activities such as theater, music, dance, and literary events.
