Providing access to cultural programmes for all, ensuring that barriers to access to culture are addressed

The Municipality of Odunpazari has undertaken many steps to make culture more accessible in the city. Firstly, all events organised by the municipality are open to the public and free of charge.

In 2022 this included 41 concerts, 9 exhibitions, 8 interviews, 5 commemorations, 3 tours, 3 opening programmes, 145 theatre performances, 5 festivals, 4 panels and 79 other events organised by Odunpazari Municipality.

Furthermore, museum visits are not charged upon request from schools, institutions and organisations involving disadvantaged groups. If there is further demand, select visitors from certain institutions are also allowed free entry.
